Bunnahabhain 13 Year Old Bagh Garbh 1.0L, alc. 50% ABV

Bunnahabhain was founded in 1881 by the Greenlees brothers on the Scottish island of Islay and means "river mouth" in translation. The distillery has some of the largest stills on the island and produces both unpeated and peated whisky in them. With a peat level of approximately 38 ppm, the peated bottlings are considered rather mildly smoky. These are very commonly found in Bunnahabhain's typical bottle, which is very darkly colored under Gaelic names.

Bunnahabhain 13 Year Old matured entirely in former bourbon casks and received a finish in Amontillado sherry casks. Bottled at 50% ABV, without colouring and non-chill filtered.

Aroma: Warm notes of roasted hazelnuts and dried figs blend with fruity orange marmalade and a maritime note. A subtle hint of honeyed malt and fine oak gives the nose an elegant structure

Taste: Deeply sweet molasses and sun-dried sultanas, accompanied by spicy orange and dark chocolate. Hints of clove underline the robust, dry character of this Islay malt
